Privacy Policy
Effective: September 20, 2026 · Last updated: September 26, 2026
This policy explains what information Crestwyn collects when you visit crestwyn.com or contact us through it, how we use that information, and the choices you have. We have tried to describe only what the site actually does.
1. What this site does
crestwyn.com is an information site. It has no user accounts, no client portal, no online payments and no contact form. The ways to reach us from the site are a button that opens Calendly to book a call, our email address, our LinkedIn page, and a link to our newsletter on Substack.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you book a call, the scheduling form asks for information such as your name, email address, company, website, what you are looking to solve, anything else you want us to know, and details about your practice or firm (for example, the type of firm and where it operates). If you email us or message us on LinkedIn, we receive whatever you choose to send.
Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics 4 on every page of the site. It records how the site is used, including pages viewed, time on page, how you arrived, approximate location, and device and browser type. Google Analytics sets cookies and persistent identifiers in your browser to do this. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and request details, for security and reliability.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us through this site, payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or confidential information about your own clients.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry, schedule a call, and prepare for it, which can include reviewing your firm’s publicly available materials and checking for conflicts of interest before we speak.
- To decide whether and how we can help, and, if we work together, to deliver the engagement under a signed agreement.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- To keep the site secure, and to meet legal obligations.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics uses cookies to tell one visit from another and to measure use of the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google provides a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics across all sites at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking cookies does not affect your ability to read the site or book a call.
When you choose to book a call, the site loads Calendly’s booking window from Calendly’s servers. Nothing from Calendly loads until you reach for a booking button. Calendly may set its own cookies inside that window, as described in Calendly’s privacy and cookie notices.
5. Who else handles your information
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our business. They handle information only as needed to provide their service, and each has its own privacy policy.
- Calendly — scheduling. Information you enter when booking is collected by Calendly and shared with us.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — site analytics, as described above.
- Substack — our newsletter. Clicking Subscribe takes you to Substack in a new tab. Anything you enter there is collected by Substack under its own policy, not by this site.
- LinkedIn — if you follow or message our page, LinkedIn’s policy applies.
- Hosting — our web host stores the site and its server logs.
- Business tools — the tools we use to keep contact records, run calendar and video calls, and sign agreements.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of Crestwyn or others.
6. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and booking information for as long as it is useful for the relationship or needed for legal and business record-keeping. In practice, that means seven years after our last contact, which covers the period in which legal claims relating to our dealings could be brought, after which we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner (section 7).
7. Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing hello@crestwyn.com. We may keep information we are required to keep by law or need to resolve a dispute. To stop receiving the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any Substack email. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor those that apply to us.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on the site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The site is written for business professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If we add a contact form, new analytics, or a mailing list of our own, we will update this policy before doing so.
